DAY 31

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

My thighs are sore.

My butt is sore.

My obliques are sore.

My upper arms are sore.

Squash is the greatest game ever invented. I’ll be playing tonight for another half an hour before leaving for home. It’s great cardio and you’re lunging and lifting and you don’t even realize how many parts of your body you’re exercising at the same time.

On a more motivated and regimental note, tonight I’ll be doing upper body strength training as well as knocking out as many cardio videos as I can, up to a maximum of four (forty minutes). I plan on doing both the DAY 3 and DAY 6 Bootcamp Videos TWICE – my arms have been the only part of my body that hasn’t been sore the day after, so I’m going to push myself just this once to let those muscles of mine know that THEY ARE BEING TARGETTED, TOO!

Food has been a little spotty today, but I still have a few hundred calories to spare for dinner and one hell of a lot of fruits and vegetables waiting for me at home. I’ll eat a few cups of grapes and an apple, wait half an hour, exercise, and then eat a cup or two of red and orange peppers.

I’m three days past the “end” of the challenge and I’m still going! I’m so proud!

Thank you to Renelle, Amanda, Laurie, and the rest of you beautiful men and women who have helped to inspire and motivate me along my journey! You’re all amazing!

Way to go!!! Keep it up! It feels good to be sore from working out doesn't it? It lets you know that you're doing something. (As long as it isn't painful soreness) I love it when I'm a little bit sore the day after. It makes me want to continue to do what I'm doing because I know that it's working!

I;ve never played squash before, but I have played tennis, soccer, softball and racquetball, oh and swimming. Tennis, soccer and racquetball can really kick your butt in a hurry. I wish I could find a partner to play racquetball with or tennis. I love both of those a lot.

Anyway, I just wanted to encourage you to keep on keeping on!!!! emoticon

You are doing brilliant, it's a shame that your muscles are a bit sore though :( Have a nice hot bath, that always makes me feel better when I can barely walk a metre!

I'm thinking about being brave and taking a before photo sometime soon, to get me motivated!!!! Sccaaaaaary!
    Keep doing amazing work!!!!
