I just joined the Spark Virtual 5K! I'm SOOOOO excited about this! I feel like this is an added motivation to get to the gym and work on my cardio. I never thought of myself as a "racer", but why not. Who says I can't do it. No one said I had to "win" the race, I'm just happy finishing it!! I'll be doing a walk/jog and I'm hoping to build up to a 10K walk/jog and maybe even a 5K run!! I've always had bad knees and ankles, but I know with strength training I'll get my joints strong enough to manage!! I'm excited! I hope I can keep this up and follow through with it!
I think I'll be able to go back to the gym tomorrow, my cough is on it's last leg today, so I should be better tomorrow! That means I should be able to get 2 days of my strength in before my next meeting with my trainer, that should be pretty good since I was sick this week.
