It’s amazing how one’s disposition can change so drastically from one day to the next.
On Tuesday I was feeling very, very low. I felt like I was beginning to lose everything I had been working so hard to accomplish. Having gone a few days without working out and having only spent minuscule brain power on controlling my diet, there was very little in the way of positive reinforcement in the life of one Kirsten Krowiak.
Yesterday, though, I forced myself to get back on the proverbial track. I exercised in the gym at work during my lunch break; I walked to the bus shelter rather than ride the bus there; I went swimming in the evening with Liz.
Today, I feel much more like myself. Waking up with only trace amounts of pain from swimming last night, my entire body felt invigorated. I’ve been snacking again today, but not nearly as much as I was yesterday. I played Squash for forty minutes on my lunch break and ate a ham and chicken sandwich for lunch with half a can of Canada Dry on the side. Mmm! I’m feeling quite fantastic and I’m looking forward to getting home after my coffee date this evening with a friend. I know for sure that I will be able to pump out a couple of videos to add even more calorie-burning to the day.
