Happiness comes in many forms-

Saturday, February 26, 2011

I just love the above picture!-- Look at the expression on the faces!!
Doesn't it make you want to laugh??
This picture was taken last fall. The 2 children are 2 of my Grandchildren.
I don't ""LOVE"" the picture , because I know the kids----
It's how happy they look, that makes me want to continue looking at it.
Doesn't it make you smile?
I mean, adults are never that happy---ever----are we??
This is complete , utter, no other "" thought in the brain"", happiness--- only that moment!

Maybe , when I get this weight off, I can be this happy!
Now don't get me wrong, I really am a pretty easy going person----I am not an old sad sack----- but--------- just look at those 2 girls-----
They are litteraly jumping for joy.

Anyway, to-day has been one hungry day. Ive eaten healthy meals, and Ive tried very hard to control my portions, and to keep water beside me all day, but it's almost supper time, and food is sounding pretty good right now--

You could say that happiness to me right now would be a plate of food-----*S*

Happiness is a state of mind. It doesn't depend on what I'm wearing or what I ate for lunch. I choose to be happy. Like your grandkids... they choose to be happy and find it in simple, fun stuff to do. I loved this picture too. Maybe we should all go out and make some snow angels. Wouldn't that make your face smile like theirs? emoticon emoticon

You're right, it IS a fantastic picture, and has nothing to do whether you know them or not: it brought a smile to MY face! The sheer exuberance of childhood--!!!

You are right they look absolutely happy. I think as adults we should focus on the "little" things more and enjoy them.
When it snowed here in Texas (which is rare) I made my husband go outside with me and have a snowball fight. It was fun and for a brief moment I felt like a kid again. emoticon
