I am married to a ""Loser"".
Now don't get me wrong------This guy who I do love immensely, is a great person----but----He loses everything!
Well, really not everything----- mainly his wallet.
This has been a major hassle since the day I married him.
Once it happened when the children were small, and we were in Florida. In those days, a person carried traveller's cheques with them on vacation. We , or I should say, ""He"" , lost it all----which was no easy task to get replaced.
Usually the wallet is lost around home here. The odd part of all this, is that it can turn up , a few days later, in places I would never, in a million years have searched.
It can be in his car, under the seat---It has been known to be in his office , on a hook, or, as happened this morning, it could be under dog leashes hanging in the front hall.
I purchased a ""fanny pack type"" of wallet for him, thinking, that , if he tied this wallet onto his body, there would be less chance of it wandering off.
Ive never seen him wearing it however --- Ive seen him carrying it -in his hands, as he chats to someone, and there it is, dangling, ready to be put down in some abstract place once again.-
This morning started like any other day--until------the phone rang----
He was at work.
I heard, ""Guess what?""
(Ive learned , from years gone by, what these 2 little words mean)-I sat there motionless-
And then I heard those dreaded words again.-----""I've lost my wallet""
Now , I 've learned not to get alarmed----even though all his papers from birth to now are on the line, not to mention, money.
I decided not to panic (for the 400 millionth time)--
And sure enough, it did turn up in the house.
What would this guy do without me??
Some days I just give up!
Some days, it's hard for a gal to do what a gal has to do!!
