So excited, bought 2 new journals, and a Jillian Michael's book

I was shopping at Borders books this las week and found three books. Two are journals, one for exercise, The Ultimate Workout Log, and the other for nutrition, Easy Diet Journal. I started the diet journal Thursday (yesterday), not eating the best yet but at least I am writing it down. The workout log I am going to wait and start using Monday as that is the first the first day in it. They both have some good information and tools included in them too.

I also bought Listen and Lose Weight by Glenn Harrold, a hypnotherapist. It has two tracks, one for meeting your weight loss goals and the other for exercising. I've done some hypnotherapies in the past and like them. Travis Fox kind of got on my nerves and I ran across Glenn Harrold on iTunes, he has a soothing voice and great music. The book so far is quite good I think, I'm enjoying reading it. I've listened to the audio cd these past two nights and was so thirsty today, if it will just help me drink my water I'll be happy, lol.

And last but not least, I just received Jillian Michael's, Making the Cut. I've just started reading it and haven't gotten to the diet part yet but am interested to see what she advises. I know she has exercises in this book too, but I think I'll be safe to just do her dvds in their place. I have the 30 Day Shred and should have her new Ripped in 30 Monday, had to order it from Amazon. Oh and I have her 6 week Six Pack, I've done one workout of that so far, pretty good.

Yay, ready to hit this, workout, eat well, and enjoy it all!

    I think you're going to enjoy Jillian's book a lot. I've tried a good number of the recipes while I'm doing the 30 Day Shred, and even my husband, who's not doing a specific eating plan, has liked most of them. The only thing is, it's a four-year-old book and she's changed her own eating habits quite a bit, from what I hear. Might be time for a second edition!!

    I'm not a gym rat myself, which is why I decided to do Shred instead of following the workout in the book (well, that and at the time, I really was in NO shape for something that demanding, lol). Ever since, though, I've been a fan of Jillian's. Just ordered 6 Week 6 Pack on Amazon and am hoping that someone will give me Ripped in 30 for my birthday... I would be interested to hear what you think about it, when you've had a chance to try it!
