Lady Bugs Go To Church?

Last Sunday while attending Church with Christine and girls we saw an amusing thing. During the sermon, there was a lady bug making its way along the top of the pew in front of us. The older girl and I just smiled. but, I thought Christine was going to row in the aisle! When we left, there was another lady bug on the column along the aisle. So, I guess even lady bugs worship our Lord!

Today, our eldest granddaughter, Nikki, turns 25 years old! {1/4 of a century old!} I only wish things were different between us. I practially raised her. When she turned 15 things changed. She went from being my 'little girl' to being aloof. She has never told me what went wrong. I never hear from her. Never a thank-you for money or gifts from her b.d. or Christmas! If I'm lucky, I see her once or twice a year at a family gathering. Meanwhile, her other grandmother whom had another 'favorite' grandchild, now gets her attention. The only thing I can figure out is at one point she asked for money, and, I didn't have it to give, that waas the turning point. Thanks for letting me vent.

Grandkids can be a blessing or a disappointment or both. Just keep praying for reconciliation, Grandma. It hurts, especially when you poured yourself into a child, but just as strangely, she could come back. On the other hand, Jesus was kind and good to others and He was crucified. Some day all will be righted.

We got a granddaughter that bought a van off of us and paid 500 dollars and owes over 1,000 that don't speak to us she has 7 kids and we don't get to see any of them . We told her not to worry about the money just be part of our lives and when she was growing up she always wanted to live with us ! We just pray for her and her family ! She has nothing to do with us either !

I wish the "lady bugs" (or Japanese beetles) would go to church. Unfortunately, I will need to send them to heaven, if they don't leave. lol
I hope your granddaughter will come around and at least be a friend to you!

grandchildren can be a pain.I have 5 grand daughters and 6 g/s the oldest of my grandsons once he turned 12 had a fall out with me over £1'20 he wanted sweets but had left his money here and town was 4 mile away i lent him the cash and because i took it off him when we returned i was all the b's under the sun.so i packed his bags and took him back to his father on the weekend who wasn't very happy as him and girlfriend were going to spain. since then he comes over occassionally with my daughter his mam but will not come on his own he is now 21.Yet his paternal family are all questional people hid other grandmother,two aunts are on the game and have been for years his 2 uncles have been to prison for drugdealing and his dad has never worked a day in his life yet social sevices and family court gave his dad custody never mind though it's all in the past and i will always be here for them all As i am sure you will be for your family no matter what. Yes, our old country church has a stream of the "lady-bug" wanna be's as I call them and the box elder bugs. Our trustees set off bug bombs at the beginning of the fall, but they are very resilient! They keep coming back! (I think there are just so many of them we can't get them all)

Yes, God's creation shows His creativity if we just look and see!

Our first pastorate an old church building in the country had a steady stream of lady bugs and our children, young at the time, loved it too! I believed God's creation in a way worship God, He said the rocks would cry out id we didn't.
Granddaughters and children are a different thing all together. Kids are more selfish these days than in the past not because of how you raised them, it is the "times". He is coming soon and the evil is more prevalent, men's hearts will grow cold.
Praying that her heart will turn to Him and to you!
