Day 84, Part II: ...and it's GoodNight from me--!
Friday, March 25, 2011
No sooner did I post the previous blog and get up from the computer to start my day than the phone rang. It was the woman from the agency who had called yesterday. She was apologetic, polite, and very understanding. I didn't have to get ratty (for which I'm glad; I don't do 'ratty' well, lol) and she assured me she completely understood. And from now on they will either make sure one of the agents accompanies any guest, regardless of time of day, or they will advise potential buyers that they must schedule visits during office hours so an agent is available. I am, once again, the happy bunny.
We made it to the store and got the totes - well, got three of the four I wanted. The sale started Wednesday, it's not even the weekend yet, and this size must be the most popular: I got the last three that were left and count myself lucky to have those. And we went to our exercise class. Today was tai-chi, which I've done before on one of the NHS courses and which I quite enjoy.
I have been dozey all evening. The lack of sleep is really catching up with me, so I'll call it a draw and sign off.
Oh, wait, no I won't. Picture of Nutty Joe:
If he isn't less enamored with the window tomorrow, I am going to try the foil trick and see what happens. If that doesn't do it, I'll try a mirror. And if THAT doesn't work - I think I'll give up. What's the lifespan of a bird in the wild? lol...
NOW I'll call it a draw, lol. Goodnight, Sparklers, wherever you are!
