Day 86: Just Another Day...

Sunday, March 27, 2011

Nothing to discuss, nothing to bring up, nothing to talk about. Not a peep out of the realtor. Wonder if I scared them off? (Do I look worried? lol)

Nutty Joe was back at it, but was pretty much dissuaded by lights on in the rooms. Since he never goes to the other sides of the house - to other windows - I am even more convinced it's a question of reflection. Because of the time change he didn't tap on the window until after I was already awake. Now I just hope he really does find a mate and forgets all about windows and reflections.

Sat with Himself while the race was on. As I said yesterday, I take a bit of interest in it - certainly in the outcome - but it's not something I watch closely, gathering in every detail. So I worked away on The Washington Post's mega-sudoku. Didn't finish it, you understand; I seldom do. But it's fun to toy with all the same.

Proofed a paper my daughter wrote for one of her classes. Oh, the wonders of the internet!

Other than that, dried some clothes, did the usual housework routine, and went thru both my stretching exercises and the WiiFit sequence I've been doing. My weight has plateaued again - not enough exercise these last couple of days, and even the shifting about of totes and cleaning out closets isn't quite strenuous enough, thinks me. I haven't started eating over my calorie range, so I don't think I'll gain anything - I surely HOPE not, at any rate! I'll see how it goes when the dust settles a little, and if things don't start happening then, I will revamp the exercising and gear it up a bit.

Himself has a cousin coming to visit for a couple days at the end of the week. If I need any incentive to keep the house clean, regardless of prospective buyers, that'll do it. I've never met her before so I want the house super neat and tidy.

There's my cue - I hear Beatle music from the other room. A few minutes of pounding drums for some exercise and it's done for the day.

Goodnight, Sparklers, wherever you are!

Sounds like a good day! How nice of you to help your daughter with her paper. I hope that you get some good rest and your bird friend delays his visit until you are up and at 'em. :)

Much better afternoon than me. I was so lazy today! Even took a nap (quite rare). But we're having a family barbecue now, which is fun. Have a great night!

Once Himself's cousin sees how marvelous your house looks, you'll beome the talk and wonderment of that part of his family. These things carry, you know. emoticon

I'm going to check and see if I can find the Aussie Grand Prix here on the broadcast channels!

Back in my 40's I helped provide F&C for the Grand Prix In Detroit! I was a rush and the first time I felt a great possibility I would die there, I was that scared. I did get the job done and was the better for it! emoticon

I'm being a bum and watching other people be active today (NCAA Elite 8 - college basketball). Napping and recharging... tomorrow, back into the fray!

    Rest well, Kasey-friend! emoticon
