Taking care of me

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

I woke this morning feeling very tired, weak and had a dull headache..not the usual me...I usually get up at 4am , no alarm, so happy to greet the world....(I'm just a joy to live ) legs hurt, had a restless night so I did something I hardly ever do I went back to bed and exercise this morning.... emoticon
then I read a SP article about taking care of our bodies....ya that's what I was doing taking care of me...I can't remember the last time I did not take a day off for regular exercise...
so it's now 6.30 am and I am feeling a bit the dag taken care of Gary taken care of and now I'm going shower and get me ready for the dancing today but we will do some mall walking for sure if it's still raining.....other wise if weather permits we will walk at the river some sort of exercise is in my plan but it will be a leisure walk with lots of laughing and dog petting...I will have 5 wonderful ladies with me and we all have the best of fun....
take care of are so worth it.

It's important to listen to our bodies Kitt, if we don't eventually it will get out attention. It's okay to take a day off now and then, I have to tell myself that too. Have a great day, I hope you enjoyed your walk.

Listen to your body. Sometimes I think we need rest instead of exercise. Proud of you.

emoticon KITT, that is the only way, it is surprising how many of us have reached and talked about the fatigue at the same time.

I was so happy to hear tomorrow our group will hopefully walk the rail trail. It has been so long. The burden of winter is lifting and we do not have to decide what music to listen to, the birds will do it for us.

    Outside walking,
    Birds singing
    So uplifting.
Hugs Pat in Maine. emoticon Feel better soon. --Pat.

Sorry you felt BAD but you handled it just right.

You do exercise hard everyday, maybe your little body wanted a day off.
Getting in a regular walk should be good for you to day.

Good for you, Kitt!!!!! I'm proud of you for listening to your body and taking care of you! Obviously you needed a little more sleep and rest, and your body appreciates it! Hope you have a wonderful day with the ladies. We had snow overnight, just enough to cover the grass (same as we got yesterday, about an inch). Hope you just have rain. We do need the moisture...gonna be a long fire season without it. Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful day today!

*hugs* I know I need to get past the guilt I feel over exercise... I feel bad if I don't do something, even when I was sick, I pushed and made myself feel worse.

We do need to remember to find balance.
