I have been paying close attention that last two weeks on my sodium intake because I think I am retaining water, plus I used to have borderline high blood pressure. It seems like I am constantly over the amount I am supposed to have which is 2300 mg per sparkpeople. I know Dr. Oz says you should only have 1500. I have been reading labels and I can't believe how much stuff has sodium in it. Its incredible, everything does! I think the more you eat food in its natural state the better off you are. I usually bring Weight Watchers, Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice meals to work for lunch. Its really easy, I save money and I'm not eating junk, but I realized that alot of the sodium I have is in these meals so I am scaling back on those and trying to make something I can bring into work that would be lower in salt. I don't put salt on anything I eat, and except for my weakness for potato chips (which I try to avoid emoticon) I don't eat anything purposely for salt. This was such an awakening to me, I just never realized how much food has sodium in it! Now when I grocery shop I am constantly checking the labels on everything. I guess that is a good thing because now I am aware of it. I'm not sure what is left to eat though!

I know what you mean about the sodium in those frozen dinners. I thought they were a healthy option until I read the sodium content emoticon Now, I try to eat leftovers for lunch or whatever...forget those *Smart* Ones! I won't buy them again...even if they are on sale.
