No More Trouble Zones?

So, yeah...NMTZ is definately a weight training dvd...but I'm pretty sure that it counts as low-intensity cardio as well...judging by the sweat on my brow.

My daughters, who insisted on doing the dvd with me, were pooped by the end. My older daughter (5) was surprised that it was only 50 minutes altogether. She thought it was longer.

I liked it. It was definately easier than BFBM, but I don't think that the two should be compared. They are too different. But...I'm definately going to be doing both at least once a week from now on. I was thinking I'd add a circuit from NMTZ to each of my remaining 30 DS workouts, too...but we'll see, inshaAllah.

I'm rather fond of the core/abs circuit (the one that ends with push-ups). My (fl)abs are rather invisible under a thick, insulating layer of blubber. Quite good for keeping me warm. Not so attractive. And that circuit had me feeling the burn.

Anyway...Spring break is OVER and I am soooooo glad, alhamdulillah!!! I know it sounds wierd, but spring break just makes for more work. With my kindergarten princess at home all week, I didn't get to take naps, there were squabbles to settle between her and her little sister, and I didn't take any morning walks. Bah. So my routine was a bit shattered....and I am not one of those people who can wing it without feeling extremely nervous. So tomorrow, inshaAllah as things settle back into the norm, I'll be feeling a bit better.
