Affirmations, vision collage and goal reminders....

Spark tells us it is important to make the goals visual, and have these visual goals present every day in our life.

On the wall or somewhere.

I have been thinking a lot of this goal not yet achieved, and wondered how it could be so difficult for me to get that process started.

I have a great apartment, in a setting I love.

But when I wrote the previous blog it slowly dawned on me, that even though I feel home here, it feels just as much home on Radisson, Marriot or Hyatt. As long as there is a queen bed, a bottle of water (YESS it is a long time since wine in my room was more of a rule than an exemption, I got rid of THAT habit at least) and a safe for my credit cards - it does not matter where on the Earth is is. Half the time I am there and not here.

Riot zones, civil war in the middle of the Middle East, or DC - I do not care. If my work and presence there makes a difference and has a meaning.

I have learned recently that I need very few material things in my life to feel in balance and fulfilled. I have 4 glasses, 4 knives, 4 forks, 4 spoons, 3 kitchen knives, 3 pots, 1 pan, 2 pillows and one set of bedsheets so I need to wash early in the day to ensure it is dry by evening. And I do not need more "stuff" in my life.

BUT I do have 2 computers, one very tiny one, light as a feather, and perfect for economy class where the row in front is just in front of your nose. And another one, a kick a$$ machine, that has all the juice and power for heavy processing of big picture heavy files. Together with my IPad and my IPhone I have all what I need to exist.

Anyway - that vision collage ...I have a couple of times looked into some of the Costco, Sun Flower Markets and Wallmart advertisement leaflets, and decided that the pictures there was not really what I wanted on my collage. So then there was the Qwest and Comcast leaflets - njaa - they were neither the right material. Go out and BUY some colored magazines just to cut them apart - njaa - that neither felt right. The books from the University - Nope - that was neither a good idea.

But still I knew that it was important to get it visual.

And then I stumbled over the perfect tool - for me.

A movie maker!

It was not cheap. I could have bought quite a bunch of magazines for the 100 dollars I paid. BUT - this has definitely been the right choice for me. Now I have a mind collage, that together with my favorite music plays on my computer whenever I have a moment.

I have enjoyed creating it, and I enjoy watching it. I play it every morning and every evening. It has become my focus points in my meditative moments.

It is, as it probably also is with the vision collages - the value is big for the owner, the value is mostly the creation process, and for others it looks like, weeell ............. we suddenly is back in time when the kids came home from kindergarten and had made something very special, memorable, noticeable but absolutely not beautiful. But our OWN collage - is beautiful! Because it is ours and we own it.

So even though this is my vision collage and it has meaning for me, I thought I had to share (because that is also what I promised to do) and where is better to share than in here?

I tried to upload it as a video blog, but it would not fly. Probably the file is too big, in wrong format or something else.

Therefore I have enclosed the link to Utube. I have it on my Ipad, my computers, Utube ect, and can reach out for it each and every time I have a short break and need some power to get further on.

Copy the link and paste it to the browser, it should work.
Enjoy if you have a moment and is curious to know what road I have chosen to take recently.

If anybody wonders, no there are none of the pictures that are of me, apart from the one you know. But there is one of my kids, or their footprints at least.
No I do not earn that amount of money - yet - this is a vision board remember?
But yes diving with sharks and leaving fully functional airplanes in midair ... I must admit that that are some of my biggest passions. Unfortunately that does not give a lot of bonus in the cardio tracker.
