When oh when will the weight start to come off! Been watching what I eat, working out and very active now for at least 2 months and nothing. I fluctuate a couple of pounds either way on any given week. I know they say you will lose inches first but even that is just now starting to happen.

The pants are looser in the legs and maybe a little in the stomach but that's it. For someone who is very impatient this is getting very dicouraging.

I know I sound negative and I am not giving up but just starting the week a little discouraged!

    I appreciate all of your encouraging comments. I probably should take my measurements. Stopping is not an option. I am sure age plays into this a little too. Was a lot easier to lose weight even just 5 years ago. I will keep my chin up and keep on going. Good luck to all of you as well.

    I know where you're coming from. I had a small breakdown yesterday after taking measurments and not seeing much change (woo hoo my arms went down, I'd like to see my waist go down!).

    Wish I had some words of advice on this one. The thing that keeps me going is knowing if I stop, I'll never lose pounds or inches. So the only real choice I have it keep on truckin'

    It is an accomplishment to keep up healthy habits for 2 months! Maybe go buy yourself something small as a reminder/reward that it's the small things like eating right and exercising that really give us a healthy life! You deserve a reward!

    I agree that it sounds like you have lost inches. Have you taken measurements? Sometimes that can really help when the stupid scale is not moving. Good luck!

    Don't worry about how you sound...we can all relate! As long as you are doing what you need to do, the weight will come off. Don't forget that if you are doing strength training, the muscle will weigh more than the fat. As long as you are losing inches, you are on the right track! Hang in there!

    Keep on keeping on, it sounds like you are losing inches and one of these days you will start weighing less, too. Remember how long it took you to gain the weight!

    Sounds like you lost inches, which means you are getting smaller. Hang in there. Losing inches is proof that your body is changing.
