hello world

Ok, so I'm not much for blogging. I internalize everything so I'm going to do my best to start this up again because I'm told it helps if you can get your thoughts down, not necessarily so that anyone can/will read them but more for your own peace of mind.

I'm starting to get really frustrated. I've been eating fantastically (with my allotted cheat meals), sticking to the Zone diet per my trainer (which spark meals pretty much follow along the same principles just not quite a strictly so it helps), work out with Lauren 2 x's per week, and still have not lost but maybe 5 lbs. That 5 lbs however I personally believe is water weight because I gain it and lose it like nobodies business. I need to get this weight off of me so that I can get on life and feel better about myself, not to mention get off all these damn medications! I've had my thyroid tested (checked out just fine), I've been tested for diabetes (just fine), so now where to go?

If I can get the weight off then a lot of my other symptoms would be alleviated, however the damn weight will not come off!!! Do I need to work out more? Sorry forgot to mention I work out 3 times a week at home as well for 30 min as directed by my trainer. Eating less doesn't do anything but make me very dizzy, have headaches, turn into a royal biatch, and makes my GERD act up which makes me have esophogeal spasms which suck. I'm at a point where I don't know what to do now. It seems like everyone else, those who work hard and those who don't, still loose the weight and then there's me who is about ready to hack it off myself lol....don't worry only joking on that last statement. GRRRRRRRRR

Thanks ladies...DOTSLADY I will have to give that a try. I've been following the ZONE diet for a couple of months now and have even been able to start running in the aspect of fitness and have been doing that for about 2 months now as well....Nada...I was asked by my cardiologist yesterday if we were tracking what my blood pressure was doing while working out and I had never even thought to track that one....Getting a wrist monitor today before session with trainer and we are going to monitor what it's doing. Here's to hoping :)

How long have you be followed this specific plan? Are you losing inches? There could be things happening that you may just not be noticing. Hang in there!

I got rid of my GERD by not eating sugars, esp in dairy, and whole grains. I upped my fruits and veg at the same time (had to eat SOMEthing - lol. ;0) I think it has something to do with not having enough stomach acid, or producing too much when you eat "acid" foods like dairy, grains, legumes & meat. Not saying to ditch them, but to experiment for a while maybe.
emoticon Perseverance and luck to you on your journey to wellness!
