Day 1 of The 30 Day Shred

I thought that this would challenge me and kick my butt. I was absolutely 100% correct. WOW.
I don't have any 3lb weights, only 5lb so that's what I used. However I could not finish all repetitions with the weights. I also struggled with the side lunges as I'd never done those before. The static lunges were a challenge too. I kept putting my knee too far over the ankle and could tell I was doing it wrong. At that point I just set the weights to the side and really tried to focus on getting the lunge done the correct way as to avoid injury.
I am sweating like you read about. Sometimes I find I have difficulty working up a sweat. Not today folks. Michaels really pushes you and the circuit training of strength, cardio, abs, had me sweating as the second circuit started. My legs feel a little like jello.
WHEW!!!! Off to shower and get ready for my day. For anyone else out there who started today, what was your experience like? GREAT JOB FOR TACKLING DAY ONE! I've been told the second day is the hardest. HOWEVER WE ARE COMMITTED TO ROCKING DAY TWO OUT FOLKS! WOOHOO!!!!!
