Good Morning Spark World!

Forty minutes ago when I forced myself to leave the warmth and comfort of bed I was not in such a cheerful mood. Actually I hit the snooze button and told myself more than once "You know, it's really not going to be the end of the world if you don't do day two right away. Your sore, really sore. It'll be fine to just sleep in today."

Of course, five minutes later when the alarm went off a second time that OTHER voice in my head said "Girl, get yourself up outta that bed RIGHT NOW! You ain't quitin' when you ain't even started. Seriously."

So I dragged myself out of bed. My husband made a comment that I looked cute in my workout clothes. I think I just stared at him without really putting two and two together while my eyes were still trying to focus to light.

My legs and my chest hurt. The first few stretches were painful. I was stiff, I was sore, and I'll admit I was a bit moody. It was towards the end of the first set of stretching I felt my arms start to finally loosen up. It was nice. By the time stretching was over, my mind had finally caught up to what my body was doing. Now I was ready to tackle DAY TWO!

Being more familiar with the exercises I got a lot more in today than yesterday. Used my weights on every move, although I did have to set them and do it weight less for the last few reps on a few. I completed all the cardio moves today without having to take any five second breaks, although it was a real PUSH to make that happen. The soreness left my body and I felt great!

Day Two is officially accomplished. Of course now since I've been sitting here typing I can feel some of th soreness creeping back in. Yet it's not the ache I had waking up this morning. I also slept WONDERFULLY last night. I think getting up early, exercising, and staying on track with my nutrition really paid off to enjoy a good night's rest. Tonight my goal is to be IN BED thirty minutes earlier than last night. Really looking forward to a FULL eight hours of sleep.

Day Two is down. Pushing myself to make this happen. Whew. Now off to shower I go!!!! Hope everyone has an amazing and fun filled day!

Thank you everyone! I have to say, that I'm thinking getting out of bed to get this workout done IS going to be the HARDEST part of the whole program. My legs were burning this morning and tonight I am def sore. Feeling muscles that I haven't felt with any other workout I've done lately in a LONG LONG time. Whew!

Good job pushing yourself to do it! I also LOVE to hit snooze! But, if I don't do it first thing in the morning - I probably won't do it at all! I'll think of you for motivation when I drag my butt out of bed tomorrow!

I have such respect for anyone who can work out in the morning. I physically cannot get out of bed any earlier than I have to.
