Not able to use Sparkpeople to its fullest.

Tuesday, May 03, 2011

Since I have gained all my weight back and some, I am having trouble using SP. I can read others pages, blogs, team postings, etc for hours but when it comes down to me trying to reach out for support I can't do it. I mean to and actually will type my fears and concerns only to say it sounds stupid, or to negative or too much self pitty so I hit the delete button. How does one start again?? I mean when I first started sparkpeople every thing was new, I had made friends and we would stay in touch and help each other but most of them are no longer on here or the "spark" has fizzled away and now trying to find NEW friends or full support is more of just a friendly nod. I really need this site to be there for me since my husband is out of town working and I am ALONE!!! How does one re-approach it and succeed ?

Perhaps you turn it around. Your problems may sound stupid to you but I can guarantee that I will share at least half of them with you! So you will be helping me by describing them! I will feel better knowing I'm not alone, and of course so will you, but suddenly you are in control. So come on let's tell ourselves how to do it. I have reached towards you, can you extend a hand back, let's look at both of our problems together. We have an eating disorder which is why we are here, and it is not our fault!
