taking a break

Not from exercise mind you

just taking a break from p90x. Just a week. A mental break if you will. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of variety...and I do love the videos. however I need to change it up a bit as i am having a weight loss plateau, and a mental fatigue from the videos.

I have been hitting the gym, and doing my arms shoulders back and chest workouts there. the videos require a lot of pullups and pushups to get results, and I can do so few of them, I never feel like I am doing a proper/enough workout.

So I usually warm up with 2K on the rowing machine, then weights, then treadmill. Before the videos, I would run a few minutes at a time only on the treadmill, with long walk breaks in between. Now I can run 25 minutes at a time, and don't stop because I am out of breath, but because my knees get sore. I am impressed with my breathing ability.
