Spring Challenge......

When I received the emails regarding this challenge I put a lot of thought into whether I would start another challenge. This will be my third challenge. I never reached my 5% goal. I did lose 4-5 lbs during each of the challenges, however I was not successful in keeping it off.

I have spent a lot of time the last few weeks reading information on the web site - motivation, goal setting etc - and decided to approach this challenge differently. I did not really have a plan in the past. So this time I am going to track at least 5 days a week and continue with the 10 minute exercise streak. That is all!

Hopefully at the end of the eight weeks I will have a better grip on my food consumption and an idea on the next small change I will add to the tracking and exercise.

Finally in closing i must say when I saw writing a blog was part of this challenge I was not too happy but I am determined to fully participate. lol

I hope all mothers had a wonderful peaceful day today.

    You can do this! Tracking is a great start and one that will help you keep that weight off.

    You can do this....and 4-5 pounds is AWESOME!! Keeping in touch with other team members is a great way to stay motivated. Reading about everyones workouts, etc is really great motivation to do it yourself!!

    If I'm doing the math right, losing 4 or 5pounds during a Challenge is 1/2 pound a week. That is a great steady weight loss. Even if it's not the magic 5% number, a steady decline is very impressive.

    I'm glad you decided to join the Challenge again and even gladder (is that a word?) that you were selected to be a Daisy with us.

    I didn't make goal last time, came close, but no cigar! Unfortunately I really slipped after the challenge. I'm hoping this challenge gives me the motivation and determination to stick with it again. Good luck to you on this challenge and your journey.

    You may not be reaching your 5% goal but you are sticking with it and in the end, you will be glad you did. And about the blogs - they don't have to be long or particularly philosophical - just share something about your day, vent or ask a question for feedback. One of my Spark Friends sometimes just blogs about a book she read or how dinner was that day. You can keep it simple. :)

    So glad you are giving yourself another chance to meet the challenge. I have not met my goal, but I lost more the 2nd time than the 1st. I hope to meet 5% this time!!
