I ate too much!

Ok, I gave in. I had Mississippi Mud cake stuff from Betty Crocker or something like that. And a Coke. Not a Diet Coke. Ugh, now I'm gonna have to work it off! Oh, well, it was good anyway. Put me over my calories for the day, but, I figure I'm not going to do it again. I've been drinking water and eating "bird food" and small to tiny helpings of everything. When I wanted a Coke, I grabbed a Diet (yuk!!). Besides, I probably sweated off the weight I put on today because it's HOT!! At least for May, it's hot. Not even the sea breeze was enough. Oh, to be at the beach on a day like this! Summer is just around the corner and I'm only working four days a week :D Living in Florida, you're always pretty close to the beach, and I'm probably about twenty minutes away! Fun, fun, fun!

    yeah, i do drink coke zero usually, since starting my latest weight loss journey. i hate the taste, but it does taste a ton better than regular old diet coke! i do allow myself the occasional treat, and i feel that if i don't, i will give in and binge and fail my diet. the good thing is, i can usually only eat half or a quarter of a serving of the bad food and that's enough to satisfy my craving :)

    Another thing- try coke zero. I am not a fan of diet drinks but being a teacher sometimes I just need the caffeine. Coke zero tastes the best out of all the diets out there- just something to keep in the back of your mind. Just be careful- for me once I binge I remember how good all that junk tastes and sometimes my one treat leads to six or seven and a plus two on the scale. But as long as you are honest about what you are eating and you are keeping yourself in check it is all good :)

    thank you :) yeah, i have always believed that i had to allow myself a treat once in a while. i've even had a reeses dark or a "fluffy" drink from the s'bucks during these past couple of weeks, after i've really started buckling down and dieting. tuesday was just the day i put in more calories than my goal! so, i just walked a little further today, and my goal is to stay at the low end of my calorie range to make up for yesterday.

    You have to have a treat every now and then or you'll just give up completely..... way to go about not busting your own butt on it, no point, you just make yourself feel bad and want to give up! Way to go!
