I did it.

When I first joined this site my main objective was to lose enough weight for my insurance company to cover my breast reduction. (the fact they wouldn't cover the surgery for something I knew I'd need eventually since the summer I turned 16 and they showed up is an irritation and blog for another day) So i angrily started my weight loss journey, I bought a bicycle and started commuting to work everyday. I biked in the rain, I biked in the snow, I biked while ill, I biked while healthy and somewhere along the way I lost the pounds. I honestly didn't feel any different but i had to start putting in new holes in my belt because it was now too big for me. I found myself under 200lbs for the first time in years.
I decided that I was going to get my reduction even if I had to use my savings to do it. It is something that I know will help me, reduce back and shoulder pain, and I knew I needed to do it while I was still young enough that healing would be swift. So I made my appointment spoke to the surgeon and set a date.
Two days ago I received a letter in the mail from my insurance company. They are going to cover all of my surgery and the overnight stay. I had done it, I had actually lost enough weight to qualify. I'm still 8lbs away from my target weight and have been struggling with these last pounds but I actually met one of my two goals. And now my savings can stay where it is, in savings.
Thank you sparkpeople, you have made my belt smaller but have made it so my wallet won't have to be.
