prayer update

Thursday, May 19, 2011

Today is Thursday and Willow Winds husband called me and gave me an update on how our great lady is doing. She was moved to a different hospital. This one isn't any closer for dear hubby to visit her. He is out of work and money is in the negative column. Well she has gotten worse. She is running a fever of at least 105 degrees and has an infection involving the pancreas and some other areas. Please keep up your prayers and well wishes for her and her hubby. She is to awesome to loose. Her blogs here at sparks have touched and delighted so many of us. Your response has been wonderful.
As for me I got that miracle. I do not have lymphoma. The new tests were very clear and were very specific for lymphoma. My symptoms will be treated one at a time and I have a bunch of new medication to start over the next few weeks but it is a huge relief to know that the lymphoma was just a horrible scare. I have been cleared to go ahead with the knee surgery and then we will do my lower back around the beginning of the year. The symptoms now indicate it is neurological in nature and my neurologist has been a guardian angel.. Three years ago through her hard work and medication I was able to get out of a power chair. I know her actions towards me have been guided by the hand of god and I know we will find a way to make things more bearable. My new grandchild is due mid Oct and it is suppose to a girl. I have so many blessings and so many things to look forward to. Now if the could only make the pain go away! The fibro and neuropathy are not curable but for most days I can live with it. Pacing and pain management have been part of my life for over a decade I am getting good at it! emoticon and emoticon to all my friends for there suppport and well wishes.

That is great news, Holly! I just read about WILLOWWINDS. I looked at her blog and there is a girl sitting beside the LORD. I thought about WILLOW sitting there with Him. I cry because I know those of us that she left behind miss her terribly, but I know she is rejoicing being in the presence of Jesus.

She would probably say to us to live each day for the Lord.
