I haven't had to many calls like this and have tried to think of the right words. This morning early my time Russ, Willow Winds husband called me. At 7 a.m. his time she passed away .We weren't able to talk much as each of us was in tears. I did ask for his permission to post her address so you can send cards or donation, flowers or words to help Russ through this horrible time.
The response to my blogs and team letters assures me that I am not the only person to miss this great lady.

    I'm sorry to hear of this. Although I didn't know her, the outpouring of feelings and caring in her behalf is strong. He positive spirit will stick with those who did know her and the rest of us will just have to understand we missed someone wonderful.

    How telling that Willow's last blog told the story of "The Secret"... I hope her DH Russ and her family and friends are comforted by knowing she's in the Hands of God now, no longer limited by the physical, and surely feeling great joy.

    My thoughts and prayers are with Russ for this will be an extremely hard time for him. His special angel has gone home to be with her Lord. She was such a special person and a great inspiration to so very many. My heart is breaking...what a great loss to all those who knew her on SP and at home. Praise the Lord she is suffering no more and is with our Lord.

    She was amazing, she always tried to lift peoples spirits even though her own might have been low. Hers was the first blog I found when I joined sparks I looked forward to reading them everyday, I will miss her, I thank god that he let us share his angel for a time. May he grant her family peace.

    Sounds like she was a wonderful human being! For sure, she will be missed by her Spark Family. I never knew her but I know she was a good friend to many of you from reading all your posts.

    If WILLOWWINDS could write us a note, I'm sure she would say, "I'm having a wonderful time, I wish you were here!" She had a great testimony in the midst of great adversity. I am glad she counted me amongst her friends, she blessed me daily with her blogs and encouragement.

    Russ, although I did not know your wife here at Spark People I share in the condolences being sent to you this day. May you know that Willow being a member touched many lives. In belonging to groups, writing blogs, we all share a common goal, better health. Nobody understands our struggles than those that walk in our shoes. We laugh together, embrace our smallest of victories, and make friends beyond our imaginations. We don't forget those like your wife that through interact touched our life, inspired us and gave us that one word of hope that helped us to not give up on ourselves.

    I know you are hurting and I pray that God will through his grace and our prayers comfort and guide you. Just as others here savor every moment they had with her through this website, you have precious memories as well, and those memories live on. Just as she will live on, in a wonderful place, where she will not suffer or hurt anymore.

    Oh this is a moment I always dread on Spark.I am speechless and just about,am now in tears,she will be missed so much.God has taken her to heaven,she will have eternal life and now she will be in a much better peaceful place and be in no more pain.How is Russ doing?
