Coming out of the fog of pain

I survived the abscessed tooth. Feel like I've been to hell and back. There were many times I was pacing and praying and begging God to stop the pain. It was terrible and I have a very low threshold for pain. My pain tolerance is extremely limited. Now the pain is constant but tolerable. The issue isn't resolved completely. Once the infection is gone, they'll do the root canal and crown. I have other dental work I'll need done as well. It's going to be a long, expensive and painful ride but hopefully at the end I'll have good, pain free teeth!
My eating was incredible strange and sporadic during this time. I am back on the program today. I had breakfast for the first time in over a week this morning. I am hoping my digestive system will get on track now.
As an aside, had a really good day yesterday. My mom and daughter and I went to a bbq place and then bowling. My mom "coached" but didn't bowl. We had a lot of fun. It was the first time I'd done anything outside the house and had a great time. My Mom was telling us about the last time she went bowling. She was pregnant with me and my dad told her she waddled like a duck. She never went bowling again cause that stuck in her head. After going with us, she is thinking about trying it again. Hopefully, she'll enjoy it and it'll replace the bad memories.
