My Challenge to cut out Soda...Early on... day one

Saturday after answering a message board about drinking soda I realized that it was time to start cutting down. I drink three to four liters (two 2 liter bottles) of Diet Pepsi a day. So I challenged myself to only drink that first morning cup until I get 8 cups of water in a day. I did get my 8 cups of water in..but I had to take to three sips (yep..right out of the bottle) cause I was getting shaky. So I almost made my challenge on the first day! I have stopped drinking it before several times, so I know I can't just quit cold turkey. The last time was 16 years ago when I was pregnant with the twins. Last time I did it was for them. This time I'm doing it for me! Gonna work on this for a couple of weeks then set a new goal!

    Such a hard habit to break, but you feel so much better for getting even the diet pop out of your system. Your skin will love you more, your stomach will be happier and you will crave less junk food.
