One small step

My small step today was waking up a little bit early and working out for 40 minutes. It has been a long time since I did that and it made me feel good. I also made very healthy lunch choices.

I won't lie, I've been down. Sleeping too much. Eating junk. Not working out. And gaining weight. Therefore, I'm heavy, I look bad, my clothes don't fit, and I'm depressed.

I want to turn it around. I want to feel better and live healthier. I feel like it is such a large change to make, but I still want it. That fire gives me hope that I will change my habits for the better.

    It seems you have reached that moment where you are ready to make those changes toward a healthier life. Good for you! That exercise will help you feel better - about yourself and it will give you more energy to say no to those poor food choices. It may be one small step, but it is the most important step of all! Don't forget, even if you trip or fall, your spark friends are here to help get you back on your feet!

    We all have our breaking points or as Oprah said our Ah Ha moments and then we try and correct probably years of destructive behaviours. I don't think this is something we can ever take lightly. I know personally, I will deal with my eating issues for the rest of my life.
    Now that I've made peace with that I am struggling to make the weight come off.
