Little Struggles... emphasis on little :D

The end of the month is always going to be hard for me... The food is running out and it's the time when I'm trying to stretch what's left for my family... We always have enough food, it's just not always the best thing for us to eat... The biggest problem is not having snacks that I can eat between meals to satisfy my little hungers... so when mealtime comes I'm super hungry so I end up indulging... Even with my indulgences I've only gone reallllly overboard 2 days... the other ones I went over by about 500 calories or so... bad but not horrible... I'm actually supposed to be eating that much because of the amount of exercise I'm doing, but I don't want to up my calories for fear that my exercise slows down... So I'll keep it at this for a little while... then if I do go over I know I'm not doing sooooo badly

So... my elliptical's little computer thing runs on batteries... it's pretty annoying... Have you guys shopped for D batteries lately??? Anyways... the point I'm getting to is... I put the batteries in... and did a 30min training sequence... It's much different than doing it freestyle, that's for sure... Pretty sure they had me climbing Mt. Everest or something... Pretty sure if I'd have actually been out in the wild doing that same procedure, I'd have been crawling by the time I was done emoticon

Thank goodness for the handlebars is all I can say emoticon

I've done the training sequence twice now... yesterday and today... I am feeling so strong... little things like getting out of a chair... I used to have to use so much of my arm strength to help pick my butt up.... Now it feels like I bounce out with little to no use of my arms... minor support is all they are now... It's amazing what 1.5 months of diligent exercise can do...

Now I want to see how long it takes me to "climb Mt Everest" without struggling :D

I can totally do this! emoticon

I do have to say I love that saying, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels... " Have never been skinny... I'll have to see if I ever get there... because some things taste pretty darn good.... I'm skeptical emoticon

    Isn't it so great when you actually feel better, and notice that you can do things easier than you used to? It is good motivation to keep going. I'm so glad you are doing well! I hope this week was good, too!
