shopping day

Wednesday, June 29, 2011

I had big plans to shop today.

Planned on sleeping in but my brain had other ideas, so at 5am I was up and on the treadmill. I got to the mall at 9.25, gee the stores don't open till 10am except for the coffee and donut shop, in my past life I would have had a cup of tea and a cinnamon roll, with extra frosting. But in my healthy life style I walked, and walked till the stores open....meet a man who asked what I had for breakfast that I was so full of energy.....I gave him a Sparkpeople card, and told him that it helped me get my life back...

I was a little disappointed that I did not find much, tried on 15 pair of pants and none fit the way I want them too, some to tight, or to low or to big....so if any one can tell me a good brand for those of us who have big thighs and a small waist, please let me know, also not 100 dollars either..... I did get some under garments....and then off to Old Navy, I had a gift card ti use, got a blouse with matching tee to go underneath..and a crocheted shrug, really cute.
had a good lunch with Gary, so all in all a good day.
It was over 100 again today, so I'm trying to stay cool, another hot one tomorrow...
No real plans for tomorrow, might get outside early for a walk .....no work again tomorrow.
so think healthy ...eat healthy and get some exercise and you will feel wonderful, don't forget the water....oh I love my water...

Your day sounded like fun. How wonderful it would be to shop for clothes in regular stores, waiting to buy the ones that fit you the best according to your tastes--and not just buying any old darn thing that will go around you! I'm not there yet, but thanks to trail-blazers like you, Kitt--I'm heading that way!

I really like how you spread the spark to the man by giving him a SP card. You go, girl!!

    lots of love---Georgia

Glad you got somethings, I still struggle with fitting of things, loosing so much leaves baggy bits that just dont fit quite right

You did great today, Kit! Walking instead of eating those extra calories.. emoticon
I've had times when I would go shopping and come home empty handed. Wish I could help with the pants, but I have a thick waist to go with my ample rear. LOL

Bummer about the pants, Kitt. I have the same problem and for the moment am just sticking with jeans. Shopping is a pain, but keep looking -- hopefully you'll stumble onto something you want.

Sorry you didn't find any pants that you liked today. I've found a couple of brands I really like. I like Austin which is at Academy and I forgot the name of the other but it is at Tractor supply. They are both really long.

WTG passing on the goodies and taking a walk instead. emoticon

LUCKY you to love water, I have always jad real hang up on it. I can only tolerate it hot.

I wish I was closer you must buy for the biggest part of you and alter for the small part. The pants back can almost always be taken in. It does depend on the number of inches. Do you sew at all. Hugs Pat in Maine.
I like to read your blogs. I just spent almost two hours getting pictures from camera to blog. I do thses things just to prove O can i have such an EGO HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon
