Your own worst enemies

Thursday, June 30, 2011

I have an older sister that needs to lose weight as much as I do, but she has no concept about healthy eating, and apparently doesn't want to learn. I tend to do well during the day but find if I spend time with her, I am not eating as healthy whether we eat out or eat at her place. She knows I want to get healthy, but she has a tendency to sabotage any chance she gets. I am going to have to be stronger when I am around her. Maybe I need to make some of the great healthy recipes, and encourage her to try some herself. Can't hurt.

You can encourage her but remember no one can do it for her...It has to be her decision....and you can not let it get you down....Remember to put yourself first...If you don't take care of yourself who will??? emoticon

I think asking her to eat some of your healthy recipes is a great idea. I know that sometime when someone sabotages your healthy way of eating, it can be very hard. Just stay true to yourself and continue to eat healthy and maybe she will start to eat healthy to especially when she sees that you are.
    Be strong....hang in there!!!
