Mostly due to end of the month lack of money issues...

It's been a while... I didn't track my food for about a week and I missed 3 days of exercise during that time, I think... Was a bit of a downer but not too bad...

I went to my Sleep Test preliminary appointment last Friday. My actual sleep testing will be done this Monday. I hope I'm able to sleep with all the little probes and knowing people are watching me... *sigh*

I've done something recently that is actually helping with lots of things in my life... I decided to put up a clothesline and hang clothes outside as much as I can... The benefits are...

~~ Me outside getting alittle sunlight, which is good for vitamin D, which will help with my calcium absorption :D

~~ Hanging clothes is actually a bit of a workout because you're having to hoist the wet clothes over your head to hang them up, as well as carrying the basket out there with wet clothes, and back in with dry clothes.

~~ Not using the dryer is saving on electricity, not only by not using the dryer, but also by not adding extra heat to the house :D

~~ I really like the smell of clothes hung out to dry and lots of times they come off the line looking partially pressed, which is pretty convenient :D

I know it's a silly thing to be happy about but it makes me happy and that's what counts! :D

I'm back to exercising daily. It's so funny how a time frame of as little as 2 months can change your whole workout experience... I'm able to walk briskly at a level 9 resistance on the elliptical... at over 300lbs... I would never have imagined I could have done that... without needing medical attention emoticon But I can!

So, even with little set backs I'm still trucking along... I'm not losing very much because I teeter around 2500 calories a day when I'm supposed to be getting 2200 calories... but I feel great... and I know I'm building muscle because I feel it everywhere... and my stamina is remarkable... it's hard for me to believe...

This is definitely a lifestyle change... people will have off days... off weeks, even... life is like that... I'm already accustomed to eyeing things for accurate measurement... like 3/4 cup of rice rather than a 2 cup serving and 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes rather than a cup and a half... being aware of the things I'm eating and amounts I'm eating is probably the best thing I've learned from tracking my food... I still add over what I ate for those "just in case" moments when I take a bite of something I'm fixing for my sons etc... I'd never have done this before... would not have had the motivation... or would have had it for the wrong reasons and not have thought about it as a lifestyle change...

Everyone feels the need to change at their own time... I'm so glad my time came along... I wish the best for everyone today...

Good eating and a Happy day to all!

You are doing awesome! :) We do all have those days or weeks where we don't do as well, but the important thing is to get back up and keep going. I notice that even when I'm not doing as well, I'm still doing so much better than I used to. That's because it really is a lifestyle and mine has changed. Feeling better is great motivation to keep going. I'm glad you are feeling better. I am, too. :) You are right. You really have to be in the right mindset. It has to be the right time for it to happen. I'm so glad that both of our times have come to change. :)

    Have an awesome week!
