Gardening=tough workout .

Gardening is a workout to dig, walk, bend, stoop, lift & carry. It gives me motivation to go outside and get vitamin D from the sunlight, something I lack during the school year. I only recommend a small plot of land with help from other family members. It can be hard work to prepare the soil and fence off from rabbits. The 2nd year is easier.
This summer we've enjoyed Roma tomatoes, mild banana peppers, green beans, parsley, & peppermint. An avacado has sprouted up from seed. Cantaloupes are fist size, sprouting from the compost pile.
Exercise has benefits for our bodies. Gardening produces more, but it is work. Check out my Sparkpage pic gallery.
