I've been helping my daughter pack. We're trying to be practical and pack as tightly as we can so it all can fit in our SUV, thankfully the seats fold down. The practical part is if there is something she needs that is left here at home she can get it over the Labor Day weekend.
Many new ventures this year!!

This is really exciting for you and your daughter.

Thanks all for the good comments, and some good tips about packing stuff in the microwave. We don't have to get her a fridge, her roommate has one.
Yes, lots of changes going on. Her schedule the first week is busy, I teased her that she won't even miss us.

The first 'packing' trip is the hardest. It gets easier after that. Part of the adventure. No worries. emoticon

Lots of changes!! I remember the "good old days" when I packed for college. Two suitcases and a box. Computers weren't even a consideration at that point, nor were dorm refrigerators, tvs. We were concerned about getting a radio to work; they had to be small enough to fit in the dorm window in order to get a signal. Nothing like today.

Hi - is this an off-to-college adventure? I'll be packing my own daughter up for this soon. Pretty sure I'll be packing things inside the frig and microwave to fit more stuff in. ha ha.
