WHAT A WEEKEND...sometimes I feel so busy constantly, but if I wasn't what would I be doing? Probably sitting on my butt, watching tv and grazing all day. So I didn't work this weekend but this is what I did.

Spent the whole day with my Mother and my adorable niece (she's 3). We went to the botanical gardens! SO BEAUTIFUL! If you live in Michigan and are some what close to the Ann Arbor you have to check out the http://www.lsa.umich.edu/mbg/ A-MA-ZING. I am serious going to have my wedding here. No i'm not engaged yet, but that's a whole other story! I had a light breakfast, with very low calories because I knew I wouldn't be eating like a 3 year old. Yes I had my 2-4 weight loss challenges with one of my spark teams, but like I said I had this planned. If anyone is familiar with Bethenny Frankel, then you understand the whole bank account thing. So I busted ass at the gym all week because I knew my saturday would be full of food. Another great thing about the gardens is that you WALK every where. We were there for 3 hours so did A LOT of walking.

Next my wonderful friend, who is an amazing cook, had a BBQ for a festival called Milford Memories. I knew there would be tons of food, so I portioned everything. Being a foodie, with my foodie friends; you can't NOT try what they have made for you. So grab one of everything with very small portions.

Being a little hungover on Sunday I didn't make the BEST choices, but knowing I was having a Bacon Burger birthday dinner for my sister in law I didn't go crazy with the breakfast feel good food.

Don't beat yourself up if you have a bbq or party to goto and you want to eat the food there. Just don't go crazy. Treat your diet and your excersie like a bank account.
