So maybe it's all about support!

I've kept the weight off for almost 2 years now. I've been thining of what kind of support I have in place and why I can seem to pick my self back up consistently now instead of yo-yoing up and down 30-50 lbs. Things seem different these days, and I think it's the support I have in place.
I used to think having a trainer was extreme. Certainly not affordable. But I worked extra shifts to pay for a big package up front and now I'm locked in to a trainer twice a week for the next year and a half.
That's definitely a huge support. He helps me stay on track, can access the food journal I keep on line on a different site, and he goes over what I eat and how I eat it. But ultimately he's pretty much in the background with the food intake, and wants to see if I can pull it together myself without his help when I fall off the wagon-- which I surely do from time to time.
I have a running group, though I haven't run with them in a couple of months now. But they're there.
I have this site, I have a SP person I email all my food to each day, plus a plan for what I'm going to do the next day. My husband is my partner in fitness and good nutrition, though he lags behind sometimes.
So maybe that's why it's worked out this time around.
