Really???? I haven't blogged since August 2???

Boy, I've been lazy about blogging this month! I don't even know what I've been up to, it just feels like a blur! I've been doing well. Some random thoughts:

*I finally got back into some cooking last week. I even managed to pull myself out of my allergies from heck induced headache to do a bunch of cooking on Sunday (as I result, I finally managed to bring my lunch today - yay!!!).

*I've been doing pretty well on keeping up with exercise - might even make that goal this month! I did 45 minutes last night on the bike, and I got the resistance back up (I'd been taking the easy way out the last few times to encourage myself to keep at it, LOL). Propped up my iPad on the screen and watched Ally McBeal while I sweated it out. I love having gym equipment at home!

*I did my first full pilates class a couple of weeks ago - going again tomorrow! I've done videos, but the actual class was so much better. Much like yoga, it's good to have someone tell you how to correct your form. A tweak here and there, and I felt it that much more. My abs were killing me for two days, which is good!

*My foot is still bothering me, so I've been laying off excessive walking. I think it's plantar's fasciitis, but it also feels a bit like a bone spur (or both). Very aggravating! I've tried various treatments, but I think it just has to heal itself. Be glad when that's better!

*I checked out some meditation books from the library, but haven't had time to practice. Still struggling to work that into my daily routine. I haven't figured out the best time to meditate. I think I just need to experiment and make it a priority. So calming!

So that's my update! I need to make the time to blog more often. It helps to lay my thoughts out in front of me now and then!

    Good job on getting in exercise! Don't worry about not pushing yourself too hard right now...once it becomes more of a part of your routine, you can slowly begin to increase the intensity. Remember, you are in this for the long run and are making habits that will sustain you for a long time. You are well on your way!!

    My allergies are killer, too! Hang in there!
