I am a very slow leaner or at the very least to stubborn at making the life changes necessary to lose weight and live healthier. I know I most likely will not become an exercise junkie or give up my sweet tooth. I don't know how to deal with the first yet but I think I might have figured out the second. Whenever I begin to crave something sweet (cake, cookie, pie you get the picture) I have a piece of fruit first. If the craving is still there I let myself have something sweet. Well, I have tried this for the last week or so and the strangest thing happened, the craving disappeared. When I tell myself I can't have sweets it just doesn't work, but swapping it for fruit or something healthy seems to work for me. As far as exercise goes I have been more active around the house lately. I have been cleaning out closets, straightening up rooms that I keep behind closed doors and starting some hobbies like sewing that I have been putting off. I hope I can manage my weight situation with my new found wisdom.
