P90X Fit Test

Tuesday, September 06, 2011

Did my P90X Fit test this morning. I actually did better than I expected on it....except for the dreaded pull ups. I really dislike pull ups

I haven't done the before photos or the measurements yet, I'll do those in the morning. I had planned on starting the program tomorrow but as it hasn't arrived yet I guess I am going to have to put it off a few days. I'm not very good at being patient when it comes to waiting for something to be delivered especially when according to tracking info it has been sitting less than 200 miles away for almost 5 days....grrrrrr Get with it Fed ex guy!

Fit Test results:

Resting heart rate: will take this in the morning. I did not realize it had to be taken before getting out of bed in the morning. Hopefully I remember.....

Pull ups: 0 None Zilch Nada!
Requirements: 1 pull up if female but it also says many people will not be able to do any pull ups when starting P90x so I guess technically it is NOT a requirment emoticon

Vertical Leap: 9 inches
Requirement: 3 inches...I rocked this one!

Push Ups: 2 ( on toes with back straight and chest coming within 2 inches of the floor)
Requirement: 3...oh well, I'll get there

Toe touch: +2.5 inches
Requirement: No less than -6 inches. All that stretching really pays off.

wall squat: 65 seconds
requirement: 1 minute

Bicep curls: 20 @ 10 lb
Requirement: at least 10 with an 8 lb weight

In & outs: 20
Requirement: 25

Heart rate maximizer: after 2 minutes jumping jacks 156
after 3rd minute 161
was not able to do the remaining 2 minutes, legs would not move anymore, lol! emoticon

Requirement: 2 minutes

Now it's just a matter of waiting for the Fed ex guy........
