I've been working out, and using a calorie counter for a couple months now, but I love reading other people trials, and success stories on here, so I figured I should go ahead and start a page. I think I will really like the support, knowing that I'm not the only one struggling with this. I (regretfully) didn't weigh myself when I started working out and making better choices about what I eat, so, the only weight I have to go by is from about May 20, 2011. At a doctors appointment around that time, I weighed 331. I joined the gym on June 23, 2011, and started a calorie counter around the beginning of July. As of September 1st, 2011, I am down to 308. I'm excited, really I am, I'm happy that the effort I am putting in is getting results. I just wish I could SEE them... I'm a little frustrated right now that I've lost 23 pounds, and can't see it at all. I don't feel it in my clothes or anything. Hopefully this changes soon.... I think I will make a point of picking up a tape measure this week, and recording my measurements. I haven't done that at all yet, but I'm thinking maybe that will help, if I can confirm inches being lost!
