A reason to believe. . .

I cried this morning when they sang this song on Morning Joe. youtu.be/QExBIdJDvOA

My sister in law died Wednesday after years of battling cancer. I keep remembering her as she was when we were both young and raising our babies. Now her daughters have their own babies, and she won't be around to see them grow up.

My husband's cousin will be buried soon, and we will be attending the ceremony that will include full military honors.

And we refuse to count the days until our GI Joe is safely home, but the hours weigh heavily.

This weekend as we remember the terrible loss of life ten years ago, there will be no shortage of tears. But as the song says, "at the end of the hour, when I'm drained of all power, I'll still remember a reason to believe."

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult. But you know, faith is part of the human spirit. Keep the faith.
