And the hedges are finally trimmed!! I ALWAYS put it off until the last possible minute (not that there is a time requirement on it...but I try to keep our house in neat condition)...and now it is done!! I ALSO weeded the gardens...which is one of my most hated household activities, but again, a necessity. Saving the lawn mowing for tomorrow...I don't want to overload on cardio today (HIIT day), and I feel that given the choice between my evening walk and lawn mowing, the walk wins.
I had a SUPER successful morning at the gym...not that I did anything really different, I just felt really strong today. With energy to burn. I LOVE those days in the gym the best...it just makes me remember WHY I'm putting in all of this work! 5 months ago (or heck, a month ago for the ST) if anyone had told me that I would be routinely putting in 5 miles on the elliptical AND out strength training half of the people at the Y, I would have laughed and suggested psych meds. :) But I'm doing it now...what a difference 4 little months on SP has made for me!!!
On the docket for the rest of the week: Trying a group free weight class tomorrow at the Y...I might like it, might not...but I'll never know if I don't try! I foresee the possibility of a little more house painting this week...I consider it to be a relatively cheap form of redecorating, and I get bored with my decor easily. The kitchen looks great after painting it last night, so I might hit the laundry room later in the week (I get on these little painting kicks about twice a year...we bought our home 6 years ago, and in that time I've painted every room in it...6 times!) I'm going to continue on with my newest training schedule, but I decided last night that I'm going to beef up my ab routine...it's getting easy, and I want to keep getting results.
