Well, I'm feeling a little sheepish today after yesterday's giant "diet tantrum"...my hub suggested I measure myself, as it always seems to put me in a better mood, and BOY was I surprised to find that in the last month I've lost":
2" from my waist
1" from my hips
1" from my arm
1/2" from my calf
2.5" from my thigh
Not a huge loss considering my goal, but a huge step in getting there! To date (since somewhere near the end of June, when I started measuring myself) I've lost:
calf is unknown...I just started measuring it last month.
But anyway, that is some nice tangible evidence that I'm making progress. Not blindingly fast progress, but progress. It's also doing a bang up job of proving to me that strength training does not mean "bulking up", but "leaning out"!! I'm going to hold onto that for today!!
