Where have I been?

Right here. Not communicating, not connecting, not reaching out, not taking care of myself. But I'm here. Like the woman said in The Color Purple "I'm here, Dear God, I'm here!"
Tonight I feel in a little better space so I thought I'd better put something down "on paper" before I don't feel in a little better space.
I've been working a 5-day week the last couple of weeks because one of the women who shares the job with the rest of us quit. I'm picking up the slack for a couple of weeks, but I surely don't want to get stuck with this any farther than next Monday. Time to set a boundary. Funny thing about boundaries and "people-pleaser" people (say THAT 3 times really fast). My boundaries are to take care of me--not other people. I do find it hard to value myself enough to put that boundary out there sometimes. Did someone say co-dependent? *sigh* But what is that phrase--If you don't want people to treat you like a doormat, then get up off of the D _ _ _ floor (emphasis is mine).
I have been watching a lot of TV with the new season upon us. Can't help it (OK I can, but I don't want to). I grew up on a farm in southwestern Ohio. My farmer dad was one of the first to have a B & W TV and then COLOR in the area. Guess that's how I got started being addicted to TV and blossomed out into technology. Forget about those new phones. What happened to all the emphasis on BIG BIG WIDE SCREEN TV'S?? So now we have to carry around a TV AND a COMPUTER in our tiny screen little dinky hardly-can-see-it phone. Forget THAT. Give me my DUMB phone.
All right, I know I'm rambling, but this IS MY blog and I can do what I want. So I hope you have a great evening. I'm glad to be back here. I'm gonna get a shower and watch Person of Interest because NCIS isn't on every night (DARN).
Later. Oh, here are some pictures of my grandkids. (Geez, what was this blog about anyway?)
Lila Rae eating her first graham cracker.
Luke Owen just being sweet.
