Happy Hump day everyone... which should i believe

So I outdid myself today and managed to do one hour of cardio @ the y... I just have one question tho.... on the machines at the gym it said i burned about 500 calories but when i plug my fitness minutes into spark people, it said that i burned over a thousand.. Now i would love to believe that i burned a thousand calories at the gym but i am not sure.. What do you guys think????? kinda average the two of them... I don't fudge when i put my weight into to machines at the gym. I have learned to be very honest with myself about my weight and i don't care who sees that I put in 260 pounds.. (sorry got off track there) any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated....

So todays fuel has consisted of beef brisket and pickles for lunch..... (I LOVE ME SOME BOOMER Q). dinner tonight was a romaine salad with feta, cheddar, roma tomatoes and cukes with a salad dressing with 30 calories and 1 carb per 2 tsp. (I buy copius amounts of this stuff at the state fair of oklahoma each year).

Didn't sleep well and my tendonitis is acting up in my ankle, so i have taken an a pain reliever pill (rx'd for my arthritis) and my meloxican (for the same) hopefully i can sleep tonight......

One thing i have found are sleep sounds pod casts.. they are awesome.. soothing sounds thru your headphones while you sleep (this is also good relaxing in the sauna after a workout).

K i am done now.... have a great thrusday everyone and i will talk to all tomorrow.....

    The machines @ the gym do monitor ur heart rate. So I think I will just use theirs

    For the calculation to be half-way correct, your heart rate has to be included in the equation.

    I personally would go with the gym machine... it knows exactly how much warmup and cool down you did and etc. while SP only knows the particulars you put in as a general guideline.
