Things I have learned

Today one of my favorite people gave me a small snickers bar... emoticon


I said thank you , but my brain said you don't need to eat that, I know I thought , then emoticon oh ya I have apple pie flavored gum, so I gave the candy to some one who needs the calories....and got me a piece of gum, it satisfied me and gave me a sense of well being...it made me think I can do this, I have tools and knowledge to think before I eat or reach for food....it might not work 100% of the time but it does at least 90%.....

I learned to start each day with some sort of exercise, some mornings I trick myself, I say just do something even if it's for 10 minutes...so I start by marching as I brush my teeth, then I start to walk outside or treadmill or exercise bike, it seems once I get started I can keep going, and what a sense of pride I have within myself.....I have sparkpeople and friends and family who help me when I am feeling down or week.....
I will never give up my healthy lifestyle, I will eat healthy and exercise everyday and be thankful for all I have.....so how could I ever go back to my old unhealthy habits... it just won't happen
