Day 4 Of Doing What Works For Me........

Today I emptied the cupboard above the refrigerator, washed it inside and out, removed the old shelf liner, painted the interior walls, re-lined the shelf, sorted and cleaned all of the cookbooks, and put them back when the paint was dry. I have 47 cookbooks!!!!! What I did to add more exercise to this activity was to remove one book at a time and place it on the kitchen counter for cleaning........then back on the ladder to get another book, etc., etc. Up and down the ladder for each and every book. Plus up and down for the cleaning, re-lining, painting, etc.. My legs are feeling it tonight! While I was waiting for the paint to dry so I could put the cookbooks back, I did 2 loads of wash and instead of drying the clothes in the dryer, I hung them outside. This meant even more walking and bending and lifting. Our oldest son was here this afternoon to work on a project in our garage, so I also made him lunch and carried it out to our furthest garage. By now I am sure that you see what I am trying to accomplish. I am actually trying to add steps instead of saving them while still accomplishing what I want to each day. I will continue to do this until it doesn't work for me anymore and then I will change things up.
