It was so nice to get that extra hour of sleep today. I needed it.

It was a cloudy day but it was warm and windy.

My son was off work and went to a friend's house.

Hubby and I went for 2 walks and saw a lot of deer today. Baby came to see if we put out any food for her today. I had forgot to put it out until later.

Hubby and I put away all the Halloween decorations.

I sure hated it starting to get dark at 5 P.M. Ugh. The chinchillas were wondering what was up too so hubby and my son fed them early.

Yeah I am not a huge fan of it either I think some years it buggers me up more than others- this year I felt drugged this morning at work and I felt tired even though I tried to rest this weekend. I worked in the high arctic for 3 months 10 yrs ago so believe me we have it not so bad (its night time up there until February now) Have to take the old lady to the hospital tomorrow ( diabetic eye tests) so I booked tomorrow off of work and Friday is a stat so its a shorter week for me. I still am recovering from last week weight lifting but am still going to do it tonight right away !!!

I also enjoyed the extra hour of sleep, but don't enjoy it getting dark so early. It is nice to put my ds on the bus in the daylight though. Glad you had a nice walk and enjoyed the wildlife.

Down with daylight savings time! I also hate getting off work in the dark, but I think I'd hate it less if it came on gradually rather than overnight.

Hubby went to bed early last night (7:30 p.m.) because he has a hard time adjusting to the time change. lol He also got up early yesterday morning. I didn't have any problems though.....it felt great to sleep in yesterday.

We got our first dump of snow last night too. That is so nice that you can see deer and wildlife on your walks. Our dogs had the same problem and still want to be fed earlier. I made them wait though so they got on board with the change. Have a great day!

I too wish they would leave it alone. This way the kids have to get the buses in darkness but living up here in Maine. The days always seem shorter than on UK.Thats why my sad gets better with the changed time. The sun is higher when I wake up and it helps.I left one kitchen clock at the summer time and it really helped me through the day. Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

It was very cool and windy here yesterday but hubby and I worked outside almost all day. I loved the extra sleep also (took full advantage of it!) and I felt great. I hate dark setting in at 5!! It just feels like the days are so short (Duh, I guess they are!)

The 5:00 p.m. darkness was a drag but I sure enjoyed the extra hour in the morning!! I kept reminding myself of that as I was getting all sorts of things accomplished an hour ahead of schedule!

I don't like the dark coming so early, but I don't like it dark at 8am either. That's what we'd have if they didn't change the time. I enjoy daylight. We still have sunshine.

Glad you had a good day. Sleep tight, gf.

Just like you, I enjoyed an extra hour of sleep. Now that Halloween is down and put away, I'm thinking Christmas.

Queensland doesn't have daylight saving and I get
woken up by the sun around 4 am. I am asleep by
9 pm though... Hope the deer survive. emoticon
