Things Are Starting To Change

Monday, November 07, 2011

Yep, things are slowly starting to change in many ways. DST is over. Fall is in full swing. The weather is changing. Things are slowly starting to happen with my MIL's estate. Some change is good.

The NWS didn't know if it would rain today but it did some. I did some yard work and started moving some of the brush we cut down from the trees weekend before last.

Have you noticed that when junky foods that contain too much white flour, salt, additives, sugar, HFCS, etc. fall from favor they start advertising them more on TV while touting that they are healthy for you with tag words like "whole grain". What a bunch of crap.

There was a big buck in the yard today. I wish he would stay put and not run off because it's safe here but the poor things are frantic looking for somewhere to hide.

We got a really crummy verbal offer on my MIL's house today from an investor who flips houses. $55,000 less than what it is worth. But it is our first offer and I find that sometimes things look up after this.

Hubby and I got a short walk when it was almost dark as soon as he got home from work. I miss DST!!

I worked on my check book tonight and got some bills ready to mail.

I pray that MIL's house sells soon so that you and your hubby can relax a little.

The house will sell. Someone will need that place. My parents went thru the same thing just recently.

I love Fall and Winter! I used to hate winter, but now I just embrace it! What the heck!

I know I left a comment on this blog last night, but I lost my internet connection. That must have been when I lost it. I called my provider and it was straightened out today. I'M BACK!! Now you have to put up with me;)

NWS is way off on our weather a lot of time, but just as accurate as the local TV stations. Our great weather man retired, now we don't know what we'll get until it's here.

I've noticed the ads on HFCS, too. People believe that stuff. I'll put my faith in Dr. Oz.

I miss DST, too. Winter isn't my favorite season, and it's coming. I like seeing things grow.

The right person for your MIL's house will come along so don't panic.

It has been raining here all day so grateful to have my bike and treadmill.

Have you considered becoming landlords if you can't sell the house? It's a pain but better than letting it sit.

Hubby hates DST - he will be yammering on about it for the next few weeks. You know, because this has NEVER happened before ... LOL.

In a way it is beneficial to me because I usually get my walks in before work and now I can leave earlier and have a little more time to myself before I leave. Although today, my daughter had school off so I opted to take her out to breakfast before I had to leave - definitely the better choice ;)

    Have a great day !

Good luck with the sale of MIL's house. I hope a better offer comes your way soon.

We live close to an army base and because it is completely enclosed, the deer are trapped and abundant. You see the most impressive buck when driving by. I believe they sometimes have controlled hunts to control the population though.

    Have a great day!

Hope a better offer shows up soon!!! Would love to see you get out from under that. I paid some bills yesterday, too!!! I don't like it getting dark so early!! I think they should just leave the time alone. Maybe you should post signs in your yard "safe zone"! LOL

I have seen so many folks fight over properties and how much to sell them for that they sit and go to pot because no one wants to invest more of their cash to keep it up. One is actually near my rental and the roof has fallen in now. I hope you guys find a better offer soon.

I do not envy this thing your in for sure. I pray that everyone can work out a offer they are willing to except.

Glad to see you got an offer - portents of better things to come! Warm and threatening to rain but nothing - repair guys for the furnace made the A/C stop working too! It's always something, you know? Have a great Tuesday!

Hope the Buck stays safely in your area!.
I am sure you will get much better offers ....These so called investors are just parasites preying on the fact it is a deceased estate.
Hang on a bit longer if you can!

At least you are to the point of offering it for sale. That's progress, I think...
May someone come along who really wants to live in it. Good Luck!

M our day was really nice weather. Its well in to November and we still have leaves, green leaves on many trees.

It was nicley in the 60,s and I did rake the yard again. GREAT Exercise. HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon
Investors are just money hungry, some one will come along and buy it some time soon. It must be saleable since the investor thinks he can resell it. I hope it happens soon M, that would be great at the holidays, emoticon Pat in Maine.

I hope you don't have to take that offer. If possible, hang on for better money.
