Did you'all cast your vote? We got to the Church about 8 a.m.. It so happens to be the Church we attend. No sooner did we walk in and one of the precient workers hollered at my hubby wanting to know where the coffee and donuts were? The Church has always before furnished that! But with the downing of the economy, church membership and decrease in offerings there weren't money alloted for that. All the area churches I know of are suffering the same issues. I don't know where you all live, but, that's the way it is, plain and simple!
Larry did go in and fixed some coffee for them. But, still no donuts. We sure weren't going to buy them donuts, we simply could not afford it, even if we wanted too. We are like a lot of older folk around here who live on a limited income. We know our priorities in line, and, I'm sorry, buying donuts for 6 preceints in the Church AND voters is just impossible. We have in the past gone thru 13 [2 doz.] donuts during voting hours. You figure it up. But, she sure wanted her coffee and donuts. She had to make due on coffee. She has more money than yours truly. Sorry for venting. I guess it shows I am only human.
I'm sorry if I sound overly harse, but, I am tired. Tired of waking up in the middle of the night with a panic attack!
I better get off here before I really show my human side. Like a song goes, "I am woman, hear me roar!"
Love and Blessings,
