More Leaves???!!!!

Sunday, November 13, 2011

It was another super windy day but it was warm and mostly sunny.. Hubby and I had no choice but to spend another day getting the leaves under control. We spent 4.5 hours working on them. He was on the Mow N Vac. I had the leaf hog and rake. We got a lot done except for by the pond and near the downed trees. We are wasted.

I usually pay the bills in our family and do all the paper work. My hubby has to do it for my MIL's estate and he is learning. I tell him the correct way to do it and he is.......................well, a man, and you know how they are. He balks and gripes and finally agrees to do it the right way. LOL.

Those leaves seem to come out of nowhere at times. But they are pretty when they stay on the trees. emoticon

Yes, there's plenty of leaves around!
I am glad you are 'Training' your man and when you get done with yours, I got one that needs a little too, but I suppose I will have to grab a number, since there are already some ahead of me huh? emoticon

We've had wind daily for a week and still have lots of leaves on the trees. We've picked them up almost daily, but not today. They don't look too bad.

If he finally agrees to do it the right way, you are extremely fortunate.

Nice you two are together doing things. I gave the bill paying to my hubby too, that way he sees what comes in and what goes out. Not as many discussions! Have a magical Monday!

Mother Nature put the leaves there.

And maybe I’ll just wait until she takes them away.

So glad that you and your DH are working together. Makes things go faster and you get to spend time working out together. WAY TO GO on helping him with the finances. Before long he will be able to do it by himself and the estate will be settled.

You know, I'm not a big fan of snow but it does cover up the leaves that blew in after I thought I was finished. . . . . . .

Raking leaves sure burns a lot of calories. I hate it too, but I don't mind as much when I have help.

Good thing your hubby has you to keep him on the right track when it comes to those finances.

Well, I am glad your hubby has you to help him with MIL's bills and legal matters. I can't even begin to imagine doing it by oneself. That's got to be the pits!

The trees in our area are beginning to shed their leaves in earnest now with the oncoming of winter. It hasn't been too bad the past few days. It's been up in the upper 60s and lower 70s during the day but then falling to like the lower 50s and upper 40s in the evening.

We only have like 5 maple trees and it takes about 20 yardwaste bags to get them up. I can't even begin to imagine the number of hours you spend getting all yours up. That is a LOT OF WORK you and hubby do!

Hopefully, soon you'll be able to relax some and take a breather from all the hard work.

Take care and enjoy the nice weather and your furry and not so furry animals! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

It does sound like a nice - though tiring - way to spend the day together. I'd never trust DH with anyone's bills!! LOL!
